How to practise each tip
Play one demo hand per tip. Write the discard you chose. Repeat until the habit is automatic.
Tip 1: Pure sequence before everything
If your first 13 cards already hold 7—8—9—lock that run and stop breaking it for a prettier set. If they do not, hunt middle connectors (4-5-6, 5-6-7) because they grow in two directions. This idea is expanded in best rummy strategy.
Tip 2: Treat jokers as glue, not trophies
A joker should close a second sequence or a high set, not sit idle while you wait for a perfect picture set. Holding two jokers for a late miracle often loses to a player who already declared with a modest hand.
Tip 3: Discard with a story

Tip 4: Track high-point risk
