Indian 13-card Rummy and Points Rummy on this demo

Two layers, two jobs: 13-card is the hand and grouping skeleton used across India; Points is how this practice table settles each deal. Pool and Deals keep the same 13 cards — only the session clock changes. Pillar pages hold the long guides; this block only explains what you play here.

Indian 13-card Rummy — introduction

Indian 13-card Rummy is the standard Online Rummy hand in India: each seat is dealt 13 cards from two packs plus printed jokers, and one opened rank becomes the wild joker for that deal. The goal is a legal show built from sequences (same-suit runs) and sets (same rank), not a long multi-deal match clock.

13-card rules used on this table

Deal: 13 cards each; stock + open discard each turn.
At least one pure sequence (same suit, consecutive, no joker).
Remaining cards in sequences or sets; printed / wild jokers may finish impure groups only.
Declare only when all 13 cards sit in valid groups; a wrong show stays on the table.

Points Rummy — introduction

Points Rummy is the fast session style layered on that 13-card skeleton: one deal, one declare, chips move from leftover (deadwood) cards, then the next hand. This demo uses Points with practice chips — not Pool (running totals to 101/201) and not Deals (fixed hand count).

Points rules used on this table

Winner of the deal scores zero; losers pay ungrouped card points as chips.
Face cards and aces count 10; pip cards face value; jokers 0; loss capped at 80 per seat.
Each seat starts at 100 practice chips; if any seat hits 0, all three reset to 100 so practice continues.
No first/middle drop buttons on this simplified table — dump high deadwood early or keep drawing until a clean show.

Yes. This free rummy game runs Points Rummy practice vs two AI bots in your browser — no coins, no registration, no server. You get 52 cards plus printed jokers, the same 13-card flow used on Indian online rummy tables.

How do I win?

Group all 13 cards with at least one pure sequence (no joker). A valid hand auto-settles after you discard. The winner takes the losers’ deadwood chips (max 80 each). If you or an AI seat reaches 0 chips, all three seats reset to 100 so practice can continue.

What is an Invalid Declaration?

If you declare without a pure sequence or with ungrouped cards, the table shows Invalid Declaration and the deal continues. Fix your groups, keep drawing and discarding, then declare only when every card sits in a legal set or sequence.
